Meet Our Founder
Thanks so much for visiting BFH- Columbus, OH! My name is Regina Hunter. I have been crocheting since I was 11. Ever since I was young, I have had a passion for helping others. My mother used to organize events for myself and other several children at our church to volunteer with homeless and underprivileged individuals. Her love for others sparked my passion for this organization!
I created Blankets for the Homeless-Columbus, OH with the goal to provide a sense of comfort and warmth to those struggling to find permanent housing. A blanket can provide "security" in an otherwise unsure situation. This organization is the first step in alleviating homelessness in my area.
